Scalbert, Augustin
Augustin Scalbert worked at L'Est Républicain for seven years, first as local reporter, then as reporter of legal news and miscellaneous items at Epinal, in the Vosges. During the holidays, he went to report from Kosovo and Lebanon, and covered the 2004 American presidential campaign. Then he undertook two further years' study at the IEP (Institut d'Etudes Politiques = Institute of Political Studies) in Paris. Today he works for the rue89.fr. news site. He is also the co-ordinator of the campaign Liberté d'informer, which aims to favour the improvement of citizens' access to administrative information.
