Jean-Louis Schlegel wonders about the dechristianisation
Jean-Louis Schlegel, editor and member of the executive committee of the literary review, considers that in Europe, "christian history no longer lays down the law, or, to put it another way, plurality has definitely won the day. An unequivocal sign is that it has been sanctioned by the law, at the level of the European Union even more than in the old European Nations, all in the name of non-discrimination. We have the right to be concerned about this situation, which is manifesting an incredible loss of memory which sometimes resembles a starting over from scratch without religions and particularly without Christianity, a wiping-out that is no doubt desired to exorcise European guilt which new victims of its history are ceaselessly recalling and intensifying..."
