Dziennik Gazeta Prawna

With the publication of the political daily Dziennik in 2006, the Axel Springer group launched a project that was considered a prestige object of the Germans in Poland. Despite high investments in its printing and editing the publisher was unable to oust the market leader Gazeta Wyborcza from its leading position. In 2009 Springer discontinued the publication of Dziennik and in cooperation with Polish publisher INFOR launched a new paper that combines the liberal conservative tendencies of the former Dziennik with the economic expertise of the old Gazeta Prawna.
