Delfi

Delfi was founded as an Internet portal owned by the Ekspress Grupp, and went on to expand to Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine, with the addition of a Russian-language edition. The website provides an overview of articles from the company's other media, including the dailies Eesti Päevaleht and õhtuleht, but also publishes its own articles. Use of the website is free of charge and it is financed by advertising. The editing team is responsible for the articles published in the commentary column, but it also commissions many different free-lance writers to write for the publication.
