Die Zeit
Die Zeit was one of the first papers to criticise the victorious alliance of the Second World War. It was strongly influenced by publisher and editor-in-chief Marion Gräfin Dönhoff, who after the loss of her homeland East Prussia actively promoted reconciliation between the Eastern Bloc states and the West. This weekly paper is mainly aimed at educated readers and academics.
