The success of the television channel France 24

France 24, the international television channel founded by former President Jacques Chirac to try and stymie the influence of English-speaking and Arab-speaking channels in the world will be celebrating its first birthday on December 6th. For the journalist Massimo Nava, "France 24 is a response to the alleged decline (in France), a proud reflex made possible thanks to the alliance of political will power with national television and private television channels who collaborated instead of competing.
