The G20 will produce more concrete talks
The daily Delo also takes a critical view of the G7 summit in Rome: "It speaks volumes that the richest countries were forced to realise that despite their long-lived omnipotence they are unable to agree on a new order in which they must begin and make their economic decisions. This weekend in Rome at first glance they seemed resolute … but baffled. This had to be done and that had to be done, they said, but there was nothing about who, how and when. For the seven richest countries the meeting of the G20 group in London in April which will include the new global players – first and foremost China and Brazil – is the right place for more concrete talks about a new order. Or at least for the beginning of a search for a solution that could prevent a repetition of the 1930s and 1940s."
