Ukraine's Orange-Blue alliance
Jacek Pawlicki and Waclaw Radziwinowicz try to take a positive view of the situation in Ukraine: "That the main opponent of the Orange Revolution is becoming head of government today is a bitter defeat for the leaders of Ukraine's independence movement. Yet it's also a victory for the revolution that Yanukovich is coming to power in accordance with the rules of democracy. We can rest assured that he will respect democratic values and refrain from violating the principles on which they are based."
