Terrorist threat no greater than usual despite US warnings
The US, Japan and other countries have alerted Europe about a heightened risk of terrorist attacks over the last few days and advised its citizens to be particularly on guard when travelling. For its part the daily Delo finds the danger is no greater than usual: "The greatest threat to the so-called civilised world is the way it reacted to the 9/11 attacks, its 'defence' against further terrorism. Therefore the danger these days is no greater than usual and the threat rating has been raised only because Western intelligence agents by chance obtained information about planned attacks. But plans for attacks are constantly being hatched. So the danger is great, but it will always remain at this level as long as the Western countries protect themselves against terrorism by invading the countries that are the sources of terrorism and impose their civilising rules on the people there."
