Documentary a must-see for Romanians

The international TV station Travel Channel aired the documentary The Wild Carpathians on Sunday. The left-liberal daily Gândul recommends the film to all Romanians: "Neither tourist nor ecologist propaganda, the film rather paints a respectful picture of an archaic culture and hitherto undisturbed nature. Both maintain an unstable balance with today's times and the exploitation of resources. But the goal (and merit) of this film is to show viewers that such a location still exists, and that it cannot be allowed to disappear. Every Romanian should make it his or her mission to see this film, especially the ministers for the environment, development, tourism and agriculture, as well as the heads of the forestries and environmental authorities. They should all start each workday with this film. And every applicant for these jobs should be indoctrinated by having to watch the film morning, noon and night. ... Otherwise they should not be allowed to apply."
