Parties act undemocratically
In Spain a number of corruption scandals involving several leading politicians from different regions and parties are coming to light. El País comments on the bad name these politicians are giving democracy: "Now, the most serious aspect in this situation is that the political class is little disposed and even less able to even understand the causes of this loss of prestige, never mind face its perverse consequences, which are apparent to everyone.
