Troops belonging to the "Warsaw Pact" march into Czechoslovakia with a good 7,000 tanks. The reform politician, Alexander Dubcek and his comrades, are taken away. Thousands of Czechs protest in Prague against the invasion of the Soviet army in August 1968.
