The lack of conservative voices
The German blog Spreeblick bemoans the lack of conservative voices in blogosphere debates. "The blog landscape lacks runners to the right. Debates on contentious issues (Islam, the immigration debate, right-wing extremists, terrorism, the smoking ban, etc.) have been conducted hundreds of thousands of times along the same lines and always with the same results - particularly on the subject of Islam. The never-changing arguments are too transparent, the false and faked quotes too easy to refute, the neuroses in the background too apparent. Some, in fact in the end almost all the debates on contentious issues eventually degenerate into public group therapy sessions for therapy-resistant cases. This may all be very interesting for the hobby psychologist, but from the point of view of content it bores me to tears."
