The World Cup's European finale

Following the German victory against Argentina in the quarterfinals, Filip Saiver writes that English footballer Gary Lineker's old saying that "football is a simple game in which two teams of eleven players try to get the ball into each other's goal and in the end the Germans always win" has been borne out. "You don't have to like German football, but you have to admire the Germans. They never give up… This year they have a very good team that proved in the game against Argentina that it's not lacking that traditional determination to win... And what if at one point in the final game the score is 0:2 against Germany? Just keep your eyes glued to the TV!"
