Drugs in the italian parliament?
Italian deputies have been caught out by a popular satirical television programme called 'The Hyenas' . It revealed that a third of the elected members, provoking debate in Italy. The jurist, journalist and former member of parliament Stefano Rodota considers that the reactions that have followed these revelations are of a falsely moralising hypocrisy. "Where is the scandal? That a considerable percentage of members of parliament have apparently consumed narcotics? In the reaction of public opinion that confirms the existence of a wide-spread tendency to turn against the political establishment always quick to seize an opportunity to express itself. ... There exists a rule that all civilized countries have in common: The protection of personal data should be considered a fundamental right."
