Danes an example for Czechs
The Czechs can learn many things from Denmark, writes the conservative daily Lidové noviny: "Denmark defends its national interests with verve, it is certainly no fanatical supporter of the EU and hasn't adopted the euro as its currency. Nevertheless it is seen as a reliable and constructive member of the EU. A country that doesn't complicate the work of the European Union and that pulls its weight financially in the search for solutions. ... That bodes well for the next six months during which Denmark holds the EU presidency. If the Czech prime minister is looking for a travel companion he should fly to the next meeting in Brussels with the Danish prime minister. Helle Thorning-Schmidt is in every respect a better companion than the prime minister's current 'friends', such as David Cameron or Viktor Orbán."
