WikiLeaks helps the bad guys, not the good

For the freedom evangelists to target Hillary Clinton is perverse when closed, secret regimes such as Russia escape

Anything can leak. We should know that by now. Sometimes there’s somebody to blame, sometimes not. It doesn’t really make any difference. A leak might as well be a digital act of God, a sudden heart attack, an unseen bus that knocks you flat. Next time, it could be anybody. It could be you.

Intimate photos? The most unlikely of people do seem to have them. A fraudster using your credit card? Or perhaps it’ll be all your own fault, and you’ll just hit “reply all” instead of “reply”. We’ve all done it, or at least nearly done it. Jobs are lost that way. Friendships end.
