Following its launch the print and online edition of Al-Ghad quickly evolved into one of the most respected media outlets in Jordan. The print edition has the second highest circulation in Jordan and the online version is updated several times a day. The paper has a liberal stance on economic policy. Its founder and owner Mohamad Khalid Alyan is a businessman with close ties to the royal family.
