The business website Dinheiro Vivo was launched as a multi-platform project (web, apps and newssite) in June 2011 to compete with the business papers Jornal de Negócios and Diário Económico. Since September 2011 Dinheiro Vivo has been distributed on Saturdays as a print supplement to the dailies Diário de Notícias and Jornal de Notícias, which belong to the same owner, the Global Notícias Media Group (formerly Controlinveste). It focuses on markets, companies, and the business community, as well as brands and technology. Dinheiro Vivo attracts around 2.5 million visits per month.
