The news magazine Focus was founded as a competitor to Spiegel magazine. In contrast to the Hamburg Spiegel, Focus offers shorter texts, lots of graphics, images and rankings as well as more easily consumable and often useful information. Its editorial department moved to Berlin in 2015.
