Vakaro žinios is the last remaining tabloid on Lithuania's newspaper market. It has the highest circulation of all the country's newspapers and is also published in Russian. It works closely with the weekly magazine Mūsų Respublika. The paper's reputation has suffered because of its eurosceptic and nationalist stance, and it is also accused of being too close to certain political parties and companies.
