Le Canard Enchaîné is a satirical weekly paper dedicated to exposing political and financial scandals. In print since 1915, it is one of France's oldest newspapers. Le Canard Enchaîné regards itself as a bastion of French journalistic independence and finances itself without advertising. During the attack on Charlie Hebdo it lost one of its most important caricaturists, Cabu.
