Mūsų Respublika is a weekly paper, all that remains of the once influential daily Respublika. Over the last fifteen years it has lost its good reputation. The paper and its owner Vitas Tomkus have been accused of being too close to certain political parties and companies. Under Tomkus's leadership the paper has adopted a eurosceptic and nationalist stance.
