Világgazdaság is a business daily. For a long time it had a reputation for being outward-looking and critical of the government. Renowned experts from academic circles often contributed to its commentary sections, alongside the editorials. However, since its takeover by Mediaworks Hungary Zrt., a subsidiary of the Austrian firm Vienna Capital Partners (VCP), it is now regarded as a mouthpiece for the government. It is printed on green paper.
