Lithuania's second most popular website 15min was acquired by the Estonian media group Eesti Media from the Norwegian group Schibsted in 2013. It is the successor to the free paper 15 minučių. The print version fell victim to the financial crisis and was discontinued in 2012. The website also suffered heavy losses but since 2014, has employed a number of new journalists and is once again focussing on ambitious investigative journalism. 15min relies heavily on its mobile version, its apps and social media.
