Lithuania's second most popular website 15min was acquired by the Estonian media group Eesti Media from the Norwegian group Schibsted in 2013. It is the successor to the free paper
15 minučių. The print version was discontinued in 2012, a victim of the financial crisis, and the website also suffered heavy losses. Since 2014, however, the website has employed a number of new journalists and is once again focussing on ambitious investigative journalism. 15min relies heavily on its mobile version, its apps and social media.
