KP is one of Ukraine's largest tabloids. In the course of 'de-communisation' its name was changed from Komsomolskaya Pravda to KP w Ukraine in 2016. The original name comes from the newspaper of the State Youth Organization of the USSR founded in 1925. A separate Ukrainian edition has been published since 1996. The paper has been owned by Ukrainski Media Holding (United Media Holding group) since 1999 and is published in Russian from Tuesday to Friday.
