112.ua is originally TV channel 112's website and broadcasts video live streams around the clock. The channel is owned by five TV companies: Novij Format TV, Partner TV, Ariadna TV, TV Vybor and Leader TV. The owner of these five institutions is Taras Kosak, a member of the opposition platform For Life (formerly: Opposition Bloc). Taras Kosak has close ties to Viktor Medvedchuk, also from the opposition platform and a good friend of Vladimir Putin. In September 2019, the state radio and television council withdrew the radio frequency from television channel 112. Since then it has only been available online via 112.ua, by cable or satellite.
