Tygodnik Powszechny ("Weekly General Newspaper") is a Catholic magazine. It was founded in 1945 and opposed the dominance of the communist media in the People's Republic of Poland. Today it publishes high-quality texts on domestic and foreign policy and social issues. Its political orientation is social-conservative to liberal and non-partisan.
