Yezhednevny Zhurnal (Daily Journal) emerged from the website of Ezhednevny Zhurnal (Weekly Journal), which was online from 2001 to 2004. Despite being blocked several times by the Russian media supervisory authority, the editors-in-chief Alexander Ryklin and Alexander Golz continued to operate the website, which features analyses and commentaries mostly by opposition authors, for many years. However, it has not been updated since July 2022.
