Founded as a stock market magazine, Valeurs actuelles developed into an opinion and news magazine. This originally liberal-conservative weekly magazine is now classified as staunchly right-wing. In 2015 it was convicted of inciting discrimination, hatred, and violence against the Roma. The publishing house Valmonde has been owned by businessman Iskandar Safa since 2015.
