The political scientist and lawyer Ekaterina Schulmann is one of Russia's best-known intellectuals. In April 2022 she moved to Berlin, where she is now a Robert Bosch Stiftung Fellow. In the same month she was declared a "foreign agent" in Russia, which amounts to a ban on all teaching activities. Her Youtube channel has over 1 million subscribers and on Facebook she has 166,000 followers (December 2022).
