Psychologist and politician Leonid Gozman assumed leading roles in liberal parties and state economic structures as early as the 1990s. In 2014 he spoke out against the annexation of Crimea and in 2022 against the invasion of Ukraine. The Russian authorities have declared him a "foreign agent". After a 15-day detention, he went into exile in October 2022. He has 47,500 followers on Facebook (December 2022).
