Daily newspaper

The daily paper Information developed from the news service for underground papers of the resistance movement under German occupation. It was founded by Børge Outze on May 5, 1945, on the premises of a Danish Nazi newspaper. For a time it was owned by its employees but it is now a joint stock company, with the largest shareholders holding more than five percent of the shares being the Employees' Association of Information, the Magistrenes Pension Fund and the Friends of Information Association. The newspaper places emphasis maintaining a dialogue with its readers. Many areas of the site are behind a paywall.
