Daily newspaper

Krónika is the only nationally distributed Hungarian-language daily newspaper in Romania. It is read by members of the Hungarian minority (around 1.2 million people) living in Transylvania and the area known as Székely Land. In early 2018, the publishing house became part of a media holding that was set up under the umbrella of the Erdélyi Médiatér Egyesület association and received funding from the Hungarian government.
